At La Genese naturist resort, kids and teenagers rule the roost! To help them get the most out of their holidays, our team of dedicated monitors speak several languages.
Kids aged 4 - 12 are well looked after with ‘Les P’tits malins’ (the Smart Kids Club), where they can indulge their curiosity and take part in all manner of fun, educational activities designed just for them and supervised by our team of trained group leaders. The Kids’ Club is open every morning and afternoon in July and August.
Right next to the swimming pool, the action-packed play zone has a bouncy castle, trampoline, slide, rope bridge, mini climbing wall, roundabout and more. After the kids’ club, this is always the youngsters’ favourite part of the site, a place where they can run, climb and play safely.
Just because it’s the holidays doesn’t mean you can’t learn a thing or two! Several times throughout the summer we organise excursions to the forest adventure trail just outside the site. Specially created by the Forestry Commission, this is a great way for the kids to discover and explore the rich flora and fauna of the Cévennes.
Every year on July 14th, the banks of the Ceze serve as the backdrop for a reimagining of the famous ‘storming of the Bastille’. The kids make and paint their own cardboard reproduction of the fortress, which then has to withstand a stealth attack from a band of commandos arriving via canoe! The ensuing flour flight is ferocious, and always ends in a big, joyful mess.
The Club Ados is a place for teenagers aged 13 - 17 to get together and decide on their own programme of events and activities, with the help of a multi-lingual group leader. And there’s certainly no lack of things to see and do: swimming in the pool or the river, drama workshops, debate sessions, fun and games… Every now and then we take a trip across the river to meet the kids from the naturist campsite on the other side, a great way to make new friends.

After an activity-packed day, the kids can get together and unwind at the ‘disco’, with special nights organised by teenagers, for teenagers. So if you think you’ve got what it takes to be a top DJ, come and have a go on the decks!
